(Overdue) 22nd Birthday Haul!
I know what you're thinking: SAF! WHY YOU SO LATE IN LIFE?! Sorry not sorry! :) My 22nd Birthday happened way back when but I failed to post this Haul till now. I finally buckled down and did it. Hurrah for me. This year I was seriously spoiled rotten! I don't know what everyone was thinking! If you are interested in having a peek at what I got and from whom, then keep reading!
One of my favourite gifts has to be my new URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE! I am SO thankful to my two besties: J and V for this gift. I love it so much! You wouldn't believe how careful I am with it - it's still in the same packaging and I refuse to even swatch the shades in fear of ruining the finish. It's there to be used - I know. I'm just protective over it right now, okay? With that been said, I can't wait to experiment with it sometime soon!
This ethnic jewellery set was gifted to me from my colleague at work from her homeland, Kolkata (Calcutta), India. I love ethnic jewellery! There is something special about the over all feel and casting of jewellery that isn't mass manufactured. The earrings are so cute and pretty and so perfect for simple indian outfits!
These are the first Swarovski jewels that I own and i'm super excited to start my collection! I've always been amazed at how beautiful the jewels are at the Swarovski stores - so blindingly shiny! The bracelet was a gift from my Momma bear and the necklace/ earring set is a gift from my Grand Momma. They always go all out and spoil me when it comes to my birthday gifts - ahhhhhhh! *blushes*You may be thinking: why all the blue? September's birthstone is Sapphire and so my Mum and Grand Mum decided to stick with the theme. I can't wait to wear these out at the next fancy event (may be the work dinner that's coming up at the end of this month!?!). I'm not one for big and shiny, so I appreciate that they chose smaller dainty pieces that are still wearable to my tastes. THANK YOU MOMMA and NANI! ♥
Pandora. Pandora. Pandora. Why must you be so desirable? My love for Pandora started with my first bracelet for my 21st birthday (another gift from my Mum and Grand mum) and I've been obsessed ever since! This year, for my birthday the Hubs bought me two bangles and five charms (what a good guy, eh?). The first bangle is the medium size with a pretty dangle charm, a camel and a London telephone booth charm. As well, the second bangle is in a small size and I chose a camera charm and Hubs chose the black and silver pave stoned charm. I don't own too many bangles and these are so perfect to wear everyday or for special occasions. My favourite things about Pandora bracelets is that you can interchange the charms to your liking and create new looks - so you never have to wear the same bracelet twice!
BIG THANK YOU TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR ALL THE PRECIOUS GIFTS! ♥
That's it for my birthday haul, thankfully it's a short one (we all know how I like to ramble!).

P.S. HAPPY DIWALI TO EVERYONE CELEBRATING! REMEMBER TO SEND SOME OF YOUR YUMMY FOOD OVER THIS WAY! Yay!
