Collective Beauty Empties 3.0
Hello hello! I finally have stepped away from the Out and About posts to bring you something beauty related - yipeee! I actually have a couple of beauty related posts lined up as well as a haul coming soon. Exciting stuff I tell you. Exciting stuff. You may be wondering why this post is called Collective Beauty Empties 3.0? Well friend, did you see my last Collective Beauty Empties post (go check it out if you haven't!)? It was a bit overwhelming, BUT we live and learn. So this time around, I decided to make 3 separate posts over the course of 3 days for your reading pleasure. I prefer to do my beauty empties posts collectively as opposed to only showcasing 1 or 2 products at a time. Also, I enjoy grouping the emptied products together by type to better organize the posts, whad'ya think? Okay enough with the blah blah, on to the post! Hope you enjoy this one!
Scent/ Body Products
The first part to this series features the following perfumes and body products:
Kim Kardashian Signature Perfume | If you haven't read my Scents & Sensibility post (go do that now!), you may have seen this product first featured there. I came to know about Kim's perfume line after watching the Kardashian clan on their hit TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians (I LOVE the Kardashians sense of style!). I'm a sucker for celebrity scents and when I came across this particular perfume I knew I had to have it! First off, the bottle looks so pretty on my dressing table and second, the fragrance is strong. VERY strong. If you are not a fan of strong scents then this may not be for you. I will say it's a strong, elegant musky fragrance. I've worn it day and night but I feel that it's more of a night fragrance as opposed to day - but there are no rules with me! Another plus about this perfume, is that you get a lot of product for your buck and the scent lasts for quite a long time. Would I repurchase this? Probably not, since there are so many other scents out there I'd like to try out!
St Ives Skin Renewing Collagen Elastin Lotion | Hands down my favourite lotion EVER! I'm so glad I discovered this product. I am a huge St Ives fan, (I loving everything they put out) and I'm a big hand lotion-er. SO when I discovered this lotion by one of my favourite brands, I was jumping for joy (this was in Target btw, true story). I love this stuff! The price is great (around the $4 range), the consistency is great, the size of the product is perfect - what more could I want? I honestly didn't buy it for it's "Renewing Collagen Elastin" hoopla, I bought it soley due to my faith in St Ives products. I love that it's small enough to throw into my purse for on-the-go hydration for my dry as desert skin. Need a new lotion? Give this a go! Would I repurchase? Def.
Soft Soap Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion Body Wash | One word. LOVE...THIS STUFF. Okay, that was three words ... This is the best body wash I have ever used, let me tell you! I used this stuff sparingly because I was afraid it would run out. Yup. I admit. I was being a little stingy with my body wash but only because it smells SO GOOD and makes my skin feel SO SOFT. I love the little moisturizing beads, especially when lathering, they help exfoliate my skin so wonderfully! Would I repurchase? Yes, for sure!
Soft Soap Juicy Pomegranate & Mango Infusions Body Wash | This body wash is actually a three time re-purchase, so you might be able to guess how much I love this stuff. Just like the Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion Body Wash (above) this stuff smells and moisturizes like a dream! I love fruity scents (I have this weird habit of smelling body washes and lotions before I buy *hides head*), so when I came across this Pomegranate and Mango combination I knew I had to have it. This body wash also has moisturizing beads, that I love, and overall I love how it makes my skin feel after a shower. I'd buy this again, and again and again!
Burberry Brit Perfume | I first mentioned this in my Scents & Sensibility post (again, shameful self promotion - LOL), and described that I got tons of compliments on this particular scent. I was not kidding. I wore this to work a lot for some odd reason, I say that because (in my humble opinion) this scent is is more appropriate for night or evening wear. I came across this fragrance on a whim (after seeing it in an advertisement in an old magazine as well as in a YouTube video I watched 4-5 years ago, it was speaking to me!!). I actually bought it on sale (if I remember correctly) and i'm pretty sure you can still find it around the world wide web (although I believe the bottle style may have changed). The scent is very pretty, and modern - everything Burberry stands for! Would I repurchase? Probably not, not to say i'm not interested in trying out other Burberry fragrances!
That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed this post! Stay tuned for part 3.1 coming soon!
