Drugstore Haul: Essentials
Today was the day that I ran out of everything: Shampoo, face wash, hand soap AND dry shampoo. I'm sure you can imagine my horror. Don't you hate when that happens? Sighs. I decided to hit my local drugstore for my much needed essentials ASAP!
one | Equate Petroleum Jelly. Also known as Vaseline, AKA the best stuff ever! I suffer from dry skin and Eczema, and I hate prescription medication so my Doctor suggested I try Petroleum jelly. It's great for lots of things, i've used it as a lippie and as a make up remover - a trick I learned from my friends! I skipped to the lotions aisle to pick up Vaseline, and to my horror, the whole shelf was EMPTY! Empty, I tell you! I looked two rows over and found a generic petroleum jelly which smelled like Vaseline and looked like Vaseline - I was sold! Don't worry, I took it home and tried it out, sometimes the generic stuff is just as good!
two | St. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub. This is my favourite face scrub ever! THERE IS NOTHING BETTER. I'm not kidding. This is one of my frequent repurchases as I use it ALL the time. It smells amazing, works amazing and is at a good price! What more can a girl want?
three | Got2b Encore Fresh Dry Shampoo. I think I have talked about dry shampoos enough on this blog. No, seriously take a look at all of these posts. If you are interested in a review on this dry shampoo check mine out here. It's become a favourite of mine over the last little while. Even topping Batiste? Well...I'll save that for another post.
four | Pomegranate Cranberry Oil Candle. Essential? Of course! I love candles, they create such a soothing atmosphere and make your home smell amazing! I needed something for my home that created a warm and soothing environment, this candle does just that!
five | Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Shampoo. Shampoos are a necessity of life! How we all cannot live without! Garnier shampoos are my absolute fave, they lather really nicely and smell great. I have switched from high-end shampoos back to Garnier as it's not the same!!
six | Clean & Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover. Now this is a first-time purchase for me. I've been using my Rimmel Eye Makeup remover regularly and love it - just not the price. Recently, it seems that Rimmel upped the price of this particular product and that doesn't make me happy at all. I found this Clean & Clear eye make up remover at less cost and decided to give it a try. Look for a review soon!
seven | Softsoap Antibacterial Soap. Okay this is basic and boring I know, but it was a necessity! I am a crazy hand washer, but it's a good thing because hand washing is super important. I chose this antibacterial hand soap to keep germs away!
That's it for this small drugstore haul. Let me know if you are interested in reviews for any of the products!
