Collective Beauty Empties | two.

Here's a collective beauty empties post for all of the beauts out there who like this sorta thing. I, myself love empties posts and videos and you may remember my last beauty empties post  from way back when. My empties bag is so full that the products are popping out and falling about all over the place.. I think it's definitely time for another one of these posts! Do not be alarmed. I did not use all of these items in one go, I've been collecting these products for the last few months. I've just realized that my last beauty post was this one back in May! WHOA. Where have I been with beauty posts? Anyway, this is a long one so let's get started!

Marc Anthony Sulfate Free Oil of Morocco Shampoo & Conditioner | These products were on my wish list for as long as I can remember. I did my research, read the reviews and watched the videos, but to my dismay these products just did not work for me. I'm obsessed with anything that contains Argan Oil/ Moroccan Oil, and you can imagine my excitement when I found a shampoo and conditioner that contained these oils. I was also sold on the fact that duo is Sulfate Free! This is was my first experience with a Sulfate Free product and sadly, it will probably be my last. I'll tell you why: I love a good lather when I shower, and apparently Sulfate (don't quote me on this) is the reason shampoos and conditioners get so foamy. How true that is - I'm not sure. What I do know is that, this shampoo and conditioner duo gave me zero to no lather and was very difficult to wash out. Even after repeated washes I felt like the products were still in my hair. I decided to give them a break and come back to them after a few weeks but no change and so I threw them in one of my unused-beauty-products bins. I've used Instantly Thick and Strictly Curls from the Marc Anthony line and enjoyed both immensely. The consistency of the shampoo was quite thin and I found it hard to work through my hair. The conditioner on the other hand was slightly thicker and not easy to use. I am very disappointed with these products as I had very high hopes especially with all the good reviews I read. On the other hand, it made the boy's hair so soft and silky. Let me remind you that he only had 2-5 inches of hair growth, compared to myself, who has a lions mane. Life can be so unfair!

L'Oreal Colour Radiance Shampoo & Conditioner | I just finished using these products a few days ago. They were just mediocre everyday products - nothing special. One disappointment, however, was, they did nothing for my coloured hair. My hair seemed duller than usual at times, which I didn't quite understand since the range is called "Colour Radiance".  I seem to have lost a lot of product down the drain due to the quite smooth consistency - something I'm not complaining about! The scent was quite strong and feminine which I actually quite enjoyed and for some reason the conditioner smelt very much like one of my fave cereals, Kellog's Froot Loops. Now you know why I loved conditioning my hair with this stuff!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo & Conditioner | Nothing bad to say about this product duo. It was all LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! right from the start. I just wish it came in a bigger size bottle (I always have to complain about something or other). The scent is just phenomenal, and it had me smelling my hair all day 'erryday!

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo, Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo,  Batiste Big & Bouncy XXL Volume Dry Shampoo | If you know me, then you know I LOVE Batiste when it comes to dry shampoos. It is def the best DS brand out there and if you are on the hunt, look no further! My first encounter with Batiste was actually from Youtube and at that time it was only sold in the U.S of A. Now I can find it 2 KMS away from home! My all time favourite Batiste dry shampoos have to be Boho (not shown) and Tropical (pictured above), so easy to use and blends with your hair effortlessly. Blush and XXL Volume (pictured above) both take a little more time and effort to use, but the results weren't as great as Boho and Tropical. XXL Volume did give make my hair more voluminious but it didn't absorb the oils in my scalp, which is pretty much a dry shampoo should do!  I went through Blush fairly quickly as I felt like I had to use more product to get the desired results. All in all, I would definitely repurchase and I already have!

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo | Not a happy camper when it came to this product, it was very difficult to use and actually made my hair even more greasy then it already was. I won't say too much about this product aside from the fact that I really disliked it! Check out my review on this product here.

Moroccan Oil Treatment | Moroccan Oil! Oh, Moroccan Oil! What would I do without you?!? If you haven't jumped on the Moroccan Oil bandwagon as yet then just go fall off a cliff or something - what are you doing with your life? This stuff is the bestest (yes, I said bestest)! The scent is just AMAZING and sweet (there were times where I legit wanted to have a taste. Yes, I admit and I'm not ashamed). The consistency is perfect and not as greasy as regular hair oils. I love using this product after I've had a shower. I tip 2-3 drops into the palms of my hands and focus on my ends first then work my way up to my scalp. I absolutely love this product! So much so, that I bought myself the large size bottle that was twice the price (but so worth it)!
Cutex Moisturizing Nail Polish Remover | First off, please excuse the horrendous price sticker on the bottle, my attempt at trying to remove the sticker was unsuccessful and it looked 10 times worse off than it did with it on. Moving on, nothing much too say about this product as it's mediocre. Nothing special. Hurrah. Oh wait... I forgot to mention: you may use up half of the bottle on ONE darn finger! God forbid, you wore glitter nail polish - don't even bother trying to remove it with this stuff. It won't budge. I couldn't be happier that it was finished and out of my sight. Apparently, it does wonders for some people. No sir, not me! Would I repurchase this? Not even in my dreams. On to the next ....

Crystal Waters Cherry Blossom Hand & Body Wash | I loved this stuff! It lathered well, both as a hand and body wash. My favourite thing about it had to be the scent - which disappointingly does not linger for very long so enjoy it while you can (or use more product)! I loved the packaging of it as well - who ever thought of putting a pump on a body wash is genius! Bath time was such a breeze! You can easily control the amount of product you want, there's nothing worse than shaking a body wash bottle (as you would a ketchup bottle) till the product comes out. I couldn't seem to find the Crystal Waters range online anywhere, it may be selective to Walmart only and I've heard they are being discontinued. WHY? I'm would definitely like to know!

Victoria Beckham Intimately For Her | If you know me, then you are aware that I am a massive perfume junkie (have you seen my post on perfumes?). If you know me well, then you know I LOVE any scents by the Beckhams. Intimately For Her, is my most worn and my most preffered scent. So pretty, so feminine and so sensual! As I began to wear this scent more and more, the less I had of it, until one day it was all gone. Not to worry friends! I have a back up! Check out my Scents and Sensibility post here.

Body Shop Moringa Body Butter | This stuff smells AMAZING! If you are a fan of Jasmine flowers as I am then you will LOVE this scent! The Body Shop is one of my favourite places to shop, they have lovely smelling things always! This Moringa Body Butter comes in a 50 mL tub (small enough to fit into your hand) which is perfect to throw into my bag for on-the-go re-application. The formula is nice and smooth just like butter and is easy to work into the skin. It moisturizes really well, and you can go hours without re-applying. I've purchased 3-4 of these already and have even given some to family since I enjoyed it so much!
Rimmel London Gentle Make Up Remover | I've tried so many make up removers in my time and this one is my favourite till date! It removes make up really well; I usually just tip out 2-3 drops on a cotton ball or cotton pad and remove my make up as necessary. I usually only have to do 2 swipes over the same area and my make up is gone! I've repurchased this already since I can't live with out it. It is priced at approx. $4.99-5.99 which I think is reasonable.

Maybelline Clean Express Make Up Remover | I purchased and used this product (before I purchased the Rimmel London Gentle Make Up Remover) and I thought I had finally found the perfect make up remover. I liked this product since it said its oil-free and it removes make up well. On the other hand, I felt that there was some kind of oily residue left over after removing my makeup and I wasn't to happy about that. I also felt that I had to use more of this product to remove a small area of make up and so I went through this product very quickly.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara | This was my very first (and last) non-drugstore mascara and it was the best $18 i've ever spent! I feel like i've talked about this mascara in detail before, somewhere on this blog. The overall consistency of this mascara is nice and smooth, the brush is huge and it applies mascara well.  I admit it is quite pricey to repurchase again and again but I definitely think it's worth it. Although, I haven't repurchased this product again, I am currently saving up for Benefit's They-re Real Mascara which costs $29!! Some one just shoot me.

Simple Eye Make Up Remover | You may remember when I reviewed this product here, so I won't say too too much about. It removes make up well and I used it the same way as I did the Rimmel London Gentle Make Up Remover. The only difference I found is the consistency of this product is a little too thin compared to the Rimmel London remover. If my first choice of make up remover is not available then I'd opt for this one as my second choice.

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil | MY MOST WELL LOVED PRODUCT EVER! I am not able to find this particular Burt's Bees product anywhere anymore which is making me a little sad.... I've checked all the usual places but it seems to be sold out, the carton is always empty! Anywho! I used this every single day till there was nothing left. It moisturized my lips really well and even gave my lips just a hint of colour which I loved! Individually, Burt's Bees products are quite pricey, as is this one, so if you can find them in a value pack of some sort definitely grab it! I will definitely repurchase this, if and when I can find it!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion | I first purchased this after all hype I had seen on YouTube and I used it every single time I wore eyeshadow and loved it! It holds eyeshadow really really well and it actually makes the colours your wearing more vibrant. This is another one of those pricey products out there but it's something I can't live without. The packaging is a tad bit annoying when it comes to removing the product with the brush. The newer packaging (as a tube) is much more usable and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

If you stuck around till the end then thank you and I hope you enjoyed this post! Till next time ....
