L'Oreal Goodie Bag.

Recently, I was lucky enough to be chosen to volunteer at the Anokhi Media 12th Anniversary Event which took place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel Downtown Toronto, which was sponsored by L'Oreal Paris. Aside from the amazing experience and the awesome people I got to meet, I was lucky to recieve these amazing goodies! And what kind of a person would I be if I didn't share it with you all?! 

L'Oreal Super Line Mat-Matic Liner in Ultra Black

I'm an eyeliner junkie, it's one of my staple items that I wear on a daily basis. I have 3 or 4 of my favourite eyeliners (let me know if you'd like a post on that) that I've been using since forever, and haven't found any eye liners that really interest me, until this one! I'm so excited to try this, I have heard that it is long wear, so I will be trying it out for work and let you know how it goes!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Press-On Nails in Cross The Line

I am not a fake nails girl, never was, never will be. It's just not my thing, and I don't like the way it feels! Whenever I do my own nails, (believe me when I say) I cut them down to where my skin hurts - no joke. For some reason, it makes me feel clean and "fresh" for the lack of a better word. But I decided to give these bad boys a try, I mean, why not, right? Maybe, for a day or so? Okay, who am I kidding, a few hours maybe? 

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Glistening Garnet

I seriously cannot wait to use this product ASAP! Only issue is, at the moment I don't have anywhere to wear it to. It might be a little in appropriate for work at a medical office ... just a little. What really excites me about this eye shadow is the consistency! Although, the colour is beautiful, the texture and consistency is absolutely perfect and really soft! I was thinking of possibly mixing the product with some water to thicken up the consistency so it's more of a creme shadow. I think a dewy shadow would look amazing for an evening out! 

L'Oreal Nail Color in Hidden Gems

OKAY, so at first I thought this polish was a green shade. Then I put my glasses on, and it looked more blue. Within seconds of looking at it again, some parts looked purple! Mind frap, right there! Turns out, its an iridescent mix of blue, green, and purple (very Peacock) shades, and black with specs of gold. I haven't been able to use it yet, but from what I have seen online, it dries very matte which is so exciting to me. I do think it will look better with a clear top coat on, so I might try both out to see which I prefer. 

L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hair Spray

THIS HAIR SPRAY WAS ON MY WISHLIST FOR YEARS! I kid you not. I actually have two hairsprays sitting in my bathroom vanity for what seems like forever now and I couldn't justify buying another one and also I am running out of storage room down there! But when I received the full size spray as part of my goodie bag, I was jumping for joy! I have heard nothing but AMAZING things about this hairspray on multiple blogs and Youtube channels, so I have no doubt that I will love it! I will say, I love the way it smells! Stay tuned for a review on this blog sometime soon!

L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautiful BB Cream in Deep

When BB creams and CC creams became a "thang", I was completely turned off. I'm not completely sure why, but it just didn't appeal to me and I felt like they were quite similar to light coverage foundations. So I really didn't see what the point was. However, I (again) had heard good things about this BB cream, so I am willing to give it a go. What I am most interested in, are the four prime beauty aspects of this cream: it prines, perfects, hydrates and corrects - and that's basically all you need! I'm not a full face makeup kind of girl, and as I said before, I prefer light coverage foundation as well because I like my skin to breath (to know more about my foundation preferences click here). I'm super excited to try this out on its own with a bit of lip balm on days when I don't want to wear make up!

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Sahara Treasure

This is probably my favourite product that I received in the goodie bag, hands down and here's why: it is so pretty! I know I will get a lot of wear our of this shadow because I typically wear lots of golds, bronzes, and browns and not only that but it's perfect to wear with traditional Indian clothing! As I had mentioned above, with the Infallible Eye shadow in Glistening Garnet, I would like to experiment a little and possibly use it as a creme shadow, another perfect evening shade! 

L'Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist in Dark Brunette

To be completely honest, I'm a little hesitant about using brow liners on myself for the fear of looking fake and overly made up. There I said it! I might be because I don't have experience with brow products so i'm not as comfortable; but, I also don't really need any products because I have dark brows as it is. I would really like to try this product out for an evening out, which I think would be appropriate. For daily use, I think I may only need the wax to clean up stray hairs and to give my brows the perfect shape! 

I have received event goodie bags before, but nothing to this degree, with full size and not to mention recent cosmetic items that I can't wait to dive into and use!
