Decorating with Florals

Hello there! I know it's been awhile, but I think we have finally settled into our new place! We moved house recently and with that comes a lot of stress and the excitement of making the new place all your own. Although we are only at a rental, we pretty much have the freedom to decorate the way we want, our landlord is pretty cool with anything which is great. I'm on a budget, so keeping costs low is very important. One of my favourite decor items that are budget friendly are flowers!

Real flowers bring life and a lovely scent to a home, while fake flowers provide a pop of colour and the essence of real flowers even in the off season when real flowers aren't as readily available and are great for people like me who can't keep anything living "alive". Some of my favourite flowers include Orchids, and Hydrangeas, which I would really love to include in my new home. 

At the moment, I am really into the minimalist trend, especially when it comes to apartment decorating, so I took to Pinterest for inspiration. I came across BloomNation's Home Inspiration board on Pinterest, which has some great pins, some of which I have included in this post.

After looking through BloomNation's many Pinterest boards, I did a little research and found out they are a flower delivery service that distributes handmade bouquets created by local florists. How cool? I don't know too many florists that are still around nowadays, so this is a great way to shop in one place with a click of your mouse and without having to leave home. Perfect for people like me!

For now the service is only available in the United States, but hopefully they will make there way around the world for all of us to experience! Let me know how you decorate with flowers!
