Man in the Mask… Well, Woman in this Case

Hello hello hello! Today I'm going to hit you with a beauty post! Yipeee right? I know it's been a while, but I have recruited one of my lovelies, AKA my little sister, Hibs (name shortened for Confidentiality LOL) to write for this blog. NO, I'M NOT LAZY, if that's what you are thinking! I'm surrounded by many beautiful and super stylish individuals and am so lucky to have them share their awesomeness with you all! Hope you enjoy this post and leave my girl some love! Enjoy!

I don’t know what it is about them, but there’s something about face masks that makes me feel like such a girl… one of those girls you see in the movies having a slumber party with two or three other girls all with the same matching face masks. I have to say I’m not one to be particular about skin care regimens and one to stick to certain products. This face mask thing is a new addition to my routine but I think I’m lucky that I picked this one to try first because since the first time I tried it, I’ve been hooked!

If I’m being completely honest, it was the idea of being a girl at a slumber party with a group of friends, having a face mask on that drew me to the idea of wanting a face mask in the first place, so I had no idea what I was looking for when I went to buy one. Strolling down the aisles in Walmart; it’s the pretty colors of these masks that drew me to them- and I have to say I’m so glad they did!
Freeman is the name of the brand of masks, but what I love most about them is that there’s a whole range of them! Each with a different purpose and even better each with it’s own color!
So far I have already gotten through one tube the first one was a Mint & Lemon Clay Mask that was supposed to focus on oily skin, to calm breakouts (it was a classic slumber party green face mask color).

Each tube gave me about 10 masks (and that’s with me being able to apply a generous amount covering my face and part of my neck). On the bottle it says to wear the mask 2 times a week for best effects, but me personally I wasn’t really looking for a particular outcome out of this product so I would only use it once a week- but even still I found that I was able to see a difference.
After finishing the first tube and seeing how great it was I was so excited to get a second one- so am now using the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask (which is a bright teal blue color). I’ve used it twice now, and I love it just as much as the first one already. This one smells so good! I look forward to Sundays now just so I can put on my mask again!

I think my favorite part of the masks (yes even more than the pretty colors) is how my face feels after I take the mask off- the mask leaves my face smelling so good, and feeling so soft.
Unfortunately or fortunately I haven’t tried any other brand of face mask so I cant give an honest rating on this one- considering I have nothing else to compare it to. But that being said, if anyone was to ask me my opinion on the product I will definitely back it up! I love it- and I already know which one I want to get once this one is all done.

Just so happens I was writing this review with the mask on my face, so looks like its time to go wash it off.
Bye for now!
