Life: Saf's new job.
Hello hello! I assume that you clicked on this post to find out what's going on in Saf's life department; and I will make this as interesting as possible - promise! As you might remember from this post here, I mentioned that I finally got a new job after being unemployed for quite sometime. So far, I am really enjoying my new company, the people and my job! I know everyone says that when they are introduced to something new, but I am truly very happy.
I moved on to another company, working in the same position, but it wasn't for me. It was a survival job that I really needed. I grew to realize that 5 months into it. That's when things got chaotic, and I realized that I still wanted more, I wanted to grow. That was something I couldn't achieve while at the particular company, so I moved on once more to my current job.
I have finally "moved up". I am finally "doing more". While I have 8 years of MOA skills under my belt, I have now moved into something that I've been wanting to do for a while now. It's been a long time coming, but so worth it! I still work within the Healthcare field, and still excited about wearing scrubs (specifically Navy blue)! It's your regular, average, routined monday to friday, 9-5 job that everyone seems to loathe, but I love it! I have the weekends off for myself, no late nights or ridiculously early mornings, so I always know what my schedule is! I have set tasks that I complete every day (with lots of enthusiasm might I add), and I love the sense of accomplishment when that task is complete and the slot is empty!
I know I sound a little crazy right now, but I can't help it. Trust me, even my coworkers think im super weird, but me no care. I get to learn new things all time, and I new responsibilities are always being added to my plate. And although, i'm not a morning person, I actually enjoy getting ready for work. I really look forward to it, and I no longer need to be dragged out of bed! Funny how that is, but it just goes to show: love what you do and do what you love! I am extremely grateful to God for this amazing opportunity, it really came at a good time.
That's my little update! I will continue to update as I go along. I am seriously thinking of doing work/ scrub OOTD's (LOL right?), but I think it would be so fun! Let me know your thoughts on that - yay or nay?!
