My December Holidays in Photos 2012

Hey Lovelies! I hope you had a great Christmas and New Years! Can you believe its already 2013?! It's hard to believe that this time last year I was in India trying to resolve conflict that quickly turned ugly and even haunts me till today. 2012 was NOT a good year. Family relationships were broken (Coincidentally I am watching Hum Saath Saath Hain - big LOL to myself). Commitments along with stress grew immensely, and I had lots to learn in a short period of time. Dealing with a difference in morals, values and culture was a huge obstacle. Finances became important all of a sudden. Privacy didn't exist. Had to face drama and tons of it! I had a hard time dealing with things. It felt as though the world quickly came crashing down on me in a matter of seconds. There are no words to describe that time in my life.

The best thing about the entire year was had to be finally becoming a Missuzz! Hands down my favourite memory of the year and well worth the fight.  But it didn't stop there. Job hunting for 2 months killed my self esteem and brought on more stress then I could handle. Mistakes I had blindly made in the past had become my present and future. My commitments increased, money was tight, and life seemed so sh*t. Struggle was/is my middle name. Scratch that, struggle is my life. But we won't talk about that now ...
Twenty twelve was (can't believe I'm saying "was"!!) one of the biggest learning experiences for me. I just hope 2013 will turn out to be better. I know everyone says that but that's all one can do, hope and pray for a better future.

Anywho, above is a compilation of a few good times during my holidays. From helping with a home decor/ art project, to New Years Eve desserts, the scent of Mahogany Teakwood in a Bath and Body Works candle, the snow covered scenery in the park, to having a hot cup of home made Cappucino, Christmas baubles, to a very thoughtful greeting card from Management, some goodies from my girly (minus the Lindt chocolates - couldn't resist!), and lastly stepping out during the first snow fall of the year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wishing you all the best for 2013.
