Sunday Synopsis Week 001

one. January was filled with tons of birthdays, the first being my Mum on the 19th. My younger brother and I collaborated on my mums gift this year; (except for the fact that he actually stole my gift idea) and decided to get her stuff that she would actually use, so I thought cosmetics would be perfect. I decided on: Quo All That Glitters Eyeliners, The Healing Garden Vitalizing Green Tea Rain Water Body Mist, and Benefit Bad Gal Plum Mascara. Mum is great at doing her own eye makeup - especially for special occasions, and she took an interest to my glitter eye liners once so I decide to get her a set of her own! If there is one thing that I remember clearly growing up, it's my mum and her body sprays! She had TONS - especially from Calgon. I've recently been into green tea scented products and when I found a green tea scented  body spray I knew it was for her! The Benefit mascara was something special and when it  had first came out I had REALLY wanted Plum more than anything. I decided to go with Bad Gal Lash for myself and love it so much I thought it would be perfect for my Mum. 

two. Lunch with the cousins (and Aunts) at Eddie's Wok n' Roll, the food was amazing and the company/ coversation was even better! There was a huge group of us (we took over half of the restaurant and made lot's of noise!), and then the party continued at my Mum's place afterwards with homemade Bubble Tea and yummy snacks! It was nice seeing everyone after a very long time and the day was so successful that some of my aunts wanted to make it a monthly thing! Hahaha! 

three. I came home late one evening after work and my Neighbour was nice enough to have a piece of her birthday cake for me! We had a quick chat, and I got to know her a little more than I did before and I'm glad I did! After I emptied my Batiste Boho Dry Shampoo I was without a dry shampoo for at least 2 months and looking to try something new. I've heard good things about Tresemme Dry Shampoos and decided to purchase the Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo and give it a try - review to come soon! 

four. Another birthday to celebrate this month, this time it was the besties! I celebrated one of my high school bestfriends' 22nd Birthday this past friday with two of my other besties, J and N. We surprised her at the door of her home with some red velvet cupcakes, a birthday sash/jewelry, balloons and our cooky selves! It wasn't completely perfect (one of the cupcakes fell in the snow) but it was memorable, nonetheless! We cut the cake with Vee, chit chatted and had some laughs with her family before dinner. I'm so grateful for being able to spend another birthday with Vee and I'm glad that we are still friends even after high school's come and gone. [Vee star, I love you dearly and wish you all the best in the coming year. You have so much ahead of you and I'm proud of how far you've come and where you will go in the future. keep your head up, and you will overcome any hardships you are going through - I know you will! XO]

five. Guess who completed my little brothers history project? Big surprise - Moi. I actually really enjoyed  doing the project for him, and was looking for something else to do afterwards and was really disappointed when he said MATH. If you know me, I don't do math. We are the worst of enemies, it actually makes me sick! *cringe* Momma Bears homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are the best! Perfectly crisp and chewy and are a dream to eat! NOM NOM NOM! Lastly, to end Sunday perfectly; we had shrimp stir fry for din din!
